Intra district transfer information

Intra-district transfer forms are due the first Monday in April, (3/14/08). We will hold a lottery on April 18, 2008 , at 11:45AM in the Sinaloa library. Per Board Policy (5116.1) we will hold a two tiered lottery:

Tier 1 will be for students with siblings already attending Sinaloa.

Tier 2 will be for all other applications.

Parents will be sent notification of their lottery number and status of their application whether it has been approved, denied, or placed on a waitlist by the first Monday in May.

BUDGET CRISIS INFORMATION

Parents

As you have heard, the governor is proposing massive cuts in education. Last night at the NUSD Board meeting, we saw the first picture of how devastating these cuts will be to our children’s programs. Please join me and the PTSA in writing letters of protest to the governor and other legislators. The PTSA is printing a sample letter that will be sent home with our students today. Please send it back to us, signed, and we will get it to the governor. Please encourage everyone you know to write. Specific information is printed on the NUSD website: nusd.org.
